Why we collect it

To create and secure your account, publish and search listings, pass enquiries and booking requests between renters and owners, support and improve the service, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.

Disclosure

Contact details are shared with the other party to an enquiry or booking request. Service providers such as hosting, email and analytics providers may process information on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal information.

Identity documents

Any identity verification material is stored in a private location, is not visible to property owners or renters, and is used only to confirm identity.

Access, correction and complaints

You can request access to, or correction of, your information, ask for your account to be deleted, and make a privacy complaint from the Privacy Centre in your dashboard, or by contacting [Administrator to complete: privacy contact email]. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Retention

Account, enquiry and booking records are kept while your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax, safety and dispute-resolution purposes.
